You might be thinking about taking an English exam for one reason or another. If you're looking for something for your CV I would recommend a Cambridge exam as you get a nice certificate from Cambridge University which you can add to your CV. And, the good thing is, there is no expiration date on the certificate. But, don't let that be an excuse to stop learning English ;)
You might, however, need IELTS because you are thinking about studying, working, or living abroad. I can offer preparation for IELTS, KET, PET, FCE, and CAE. You might also have another exam you need to prepare for which isn't above, send me an email, and I'll let you know if it's possible. Do note though, I do not prepare students for TOEFL and I would recommend finding an American teacher if you plan on taking this exam.
I would recommend getting a coursebook if you plan on taking one of the above exams. If you're looking for a recommendation, I'd advise the Objective series and Complete series of all the mentioned exams.
Of course, you don't need to get a coursebook, but it will help. I will provide all materials for IELTS preparation, and each lesson will focus on ways of tackling the exam, using materials from past papers, and various other IELTS related material.
